Hi Everyone,
Here is a sweet little card I made for my oldest daughter's birthday (Ashley). Her birthday is not until next week but I actually got this done early. I cannot believe she is going to be 26 it is just crazy. I look at her and see the face of a 2 year old, I don't get it. But anyway I have two daughters and they both make me very proud to be their mom. We have a lot of fun together.
The image is a digital image from Sherry Baldy, I love the glasses on this one. I colored her with my copic markers and of course added some Stickles for some sparkle. The purse charm is a must for Ashley since she does love her purses hmmm wonder where she got that from...
Well hopefully she will not see this post before her birthday lol!
Thanks for stopping by.

Cute and Cuddly
Good Morning!
So it is Saturday and today is my birthday!!! I will not disclose my age but let's just say old enough to know better but young enough not to care haha!
I pre posted this because I am up in New Hampshire with my husband and some of his family just enjoying a great weekend together. A little rest and relaxation especially for my husband who works in a school system and school just ended yesterday. Of course he works all summer but it will be a bit quieter in the summer.
So today at Sweet Stampin' we have a new challenge, CUTE AND CUDDLY, go on say it...awe! I know, I know, so many cute cuddly stamps to choose from. The image I used on my card is from the Stamp Fairy as they are our weekly sponsor this week. Don't forget we also have a monthly sponsor which is
The ribbon girl.

Wish I could color like that!
Hi Everyone,
Today at CMC we have a new challenge and it is Summer Inspired Colors, blues, greens, oranges and yellows. We are sponsored this challenge by Milk and Coffee Digital Stamps, thus where I got my image which is Charlotte the Nurse. We also have a monthly sponsor Oozak so you have two chances to win great prizes.
All you need to do is enter our challenge using any image and color it with alcohol markers or pencils and follow the theme of summer colors. Easy!
Here is my card:
I colored her with Copics:
Hair E25, E29, E31, E50
Boots and blouse YR68, YR65, YR61
Dress BG07, BG05, BG01
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
So there you have it, now lets see what you create!
I also have some exciting news to share with you.
Do you ever see a card and think, "Wow I wish I could color like that". I used to think that all the time.
Ok well sometimes I still do because some of you are absolutely amazing, but for the rest of use who are not so gifted we need some extra tips and practice. So here is your chance...
This summer the so talented Suzanne Dean from Color Me Creative Classroom is offering a discount off her copic classes. This is a great deal, if you want to learn how to use those copics to their fullest this is the class for you. It is all on line and she even checks out your work, comments and helps you to become a more talented artist.
I have taken all her copic classes because I became addicted, but she teaches the very basic up to the very advanced. You will learn different techniques for blending, shading, highlighting. How to color hair, skin, clothes, and other objects. You do this at your pace on your own time what is better than that? I still refer to all the information she gives out in these classes.
So if you want to improve your coloring skills check out these classes, I am sure you will not be disappointed, whether you take one class or all the classes you will love them.
Thanks for stopping by and if you sign up for a class tell her Kim sent you!

What Halloween?
Hi Everyone,
So I am not insane, just wanted to do something different so yes I created a Halloween card. Now don't roll your eyes at me, I see all your Christmas cards out there hehe! I got this adorable stamp last year on sale and wanted to color it up. It is from Stampendous, it is a cling stamp.
The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Northwoods. I colored it using my copics and added some stickles to the pumpkins. I also used a Spellbinders die cut for the crow. I think it came out cute!
Thanks for stopping by!

Cigar Box Fun
Good Morning Everyone,
Wanted to share a new creation with you. This is my first attempt at an altered Cigar Box. The craft store I go to here in Topsfield (Absolutely Everything) has had some beautiful altered cigar boxes on display. They offer a class but I was not available at the times offered so I attempted to make one of my own. I did this for a little girl graduating kindergarten but you could really do this for any occasion, the possibilities are endless.
Whoops looks like my fish got over turned, think I will glue that charm down.

The image is La La Land Marci which I colored with Copics.
The inside I am going to put some fun stuff for her.
The legs are wood that I painted to match, got them at Michaels.
I don't think it came out too bad for my first attempt. It was a lot of fun to do, I may attempt another one soon just to try a different theme.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Grumpy old men
Hi Friends,
Hope we are all well. Busy time of year isn't it? You know graduations, recitals, father's day, weddings, all seem to happen this time of year. It is crazy but a lot of fun too! A lot of opportunities for card making haha!
My card today I made for my father-in-law for father's day. I have to laugh because my father-in-law is never grumpy but this image from Mo's digital pencil is just so funny, that I had to use it. I colored it with Copic markers.
I know he will laugh because as long as there is cake or ice cream my father in law will definitely put on a party hat! Hope you have someone to spend Father's Day with!
Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments, I really do appreciate them. It is always a nice surprise to find a comment on my blog.

Sweet Stampin' Sketch Challenge
Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. So today at Sweet Stampin' we have a new challenge and it is a Sketch. I have not actually done any sketches lately so this was really fun for me. I forgot how easy they are.
Here is my card and the sketch you need to follow:
The image I used is from Sherry Baldy, she has a ton of adorable images. I colored her using my copics and added some Stickles for sparkle. With the sketch it was super quick and easy, no big decisions other than paper.
We of course have two sponsors, the weekly sponsor is Saturated Canary, Krista has some of the most wonderful images. If you never have seen them you must go check them out.
Our monthly sponsor is once again
