Choir of Angels

Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing my Design Team card for this year with Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. My next one will be in the new year! Can't believe we are wrapping up another year.

This beauty is called Choir of Angels which I thought would be perfect! Something a little different for christmas. I colored them using copics. I added some glitter to the wings because well wings!

Hot Cocoa

 Good Morning,

Today I am sharing a card that is perfect for me this morning as it is freezing her today at only 19 degrees.

This is Mabel Hot Cocoa (or chocolate or coffee). She is part of the digital Mabel release from Polkadoodles. This release also has these amazing papers! I feel like this is such a cozy, sweet, card. Her little reindeer slippers are the best!

I colored her up with copics but you can get the precolored images also to save time. I then just stacked up some paper using some foam tape to add some dimension and added a cute sentiment. Done in no time.

She is available here:

one line santa

 Good Morning,

Today I am sharing a card I made for The Rabbit Hole Designs team using the Modern Luxury Stencil and One line Santa both of which you can get here:

https://therabbitholedesigns.com/HOLIDAYCARDSBYKIM

Make sure to use code:  HOLIDAYCARDSBYKIM    for a free exclusive gift.

I stenciled my cardstock using distress oxide ink going lighter as I got to the outside of the stencil. The image I stamped and colored with copics and then fussy cut and applied the card. I then added a few matte white dots and the sentiment. I love how the finished product came out.

Let me know what you think. How would you use this stamp?

Charmed Life

 Good Afternoon,

Today I am featuring a card that has no coloring! What???? I know kind of different for me. But this is the large die kit of the month from Spellbinders. It convinced me to sign up for the club. It is called Charmed Life and I love it.

The dies are all included, I just added the sentiment. I used black shiny paper for the purse and embossed it with a folder I had forever. I used gold metallic paper for the accents and a piece of scrap pattern paper I had for the scarf tie.

Such a fun kit. It also had other charms, these are just the two I chose to use.

I am entering this in the C.R.A.F.T. challenge:  Anything goes.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will follow along and leave me a comment so I know you were here!

Happy Brr thday!

 Hello Everyone,

Wanted to share a cute card I made for my great-nephew's 3rd birthday! I used a clear stamp set from La La Land Crafts called Freeze the Day. You can get it here:

https://www.lalalandcrafts.com/Freeze-the-Day-Clear-Stamp-Set_p_4334.html

I used a blue metallic paper for the water (which was awful to try and photograph lol). I believe I got this paper from Spellbinders when I bought my Sizzix Big Shot. I colored these sweet guys using copics in the W7, W5, W3 colors. The mountains and icebergs are both dies from La La Land also. The biggest is actually a pond die. It's fun to use dies for other purposes.

I then added some flecks of snow using splatter white from Spellbinders. Such a fun winter scene for a December birthday!

The Rabbit Hole Designs

 Hello Everyone,

I am excited to share one of first cards as a DT member for The Rabbit Hole Designs. This card was a simple design but really sweet. I used the Holiday Background Stencil Builder with some distress inks for my paper. Then I used the leaves from the Poinsettia and Pinecones Stamp Set  which I also colored with distress ink.

The sentiment is from Sentimentally Speaking Holidays. Lastly, I added a few Matte white enamel dots. I feel like this card has a 1950's vibe.

Thanks for stopping by! Would love to hear your comments!

Naughty or Nice

 Good Morning Friends,

As we are getting closer to Christmas, I thought this card would be appropriate. The image from Dr. Digit's House of Stamps is called Naughty or Nice, which have you been? Haha

You can get that image along with many others right here: https://www.doctor-digi.com/christmas/naughty-or-nice-digital-stamp

I colored him with Copics and fussy cut. I added a rectangle frame behind his list look like a cork board and plaid paper to look like wall paper. I think he is working hard right now!!!
