Believe!

 Hi Everyone,

Sharing another card using the newly released Santa Says stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I have combined this with the re-released Galaxy Paper pack. This card was so easy to make using this paper as the background.

I stamped and colored my images using my copics and then die cut them out. I added a bit of glitter cardstock I had in my stash to make it look like a snowy ground. I hope you will go check out this stamp set and paper pack! The paper comes in multiple colors.

He fills my cup

 Hello,

Hope all is well! Today I am sharing another card using the Pixi Promises release this time I am using He Fills My Cup with Grace die set.

This is such a quick way to create a card. I just die cut all the pieces, glued them together, added some touches with my copics and added them to my card base. Easy peasy! I love the pumpkin in this set because obviously you could use it for many other fall cards.

Christmas in July with TRHD

 Good Morning!

Today is July 1st and we are celebrating a bit of Christmas in July with The Rabbit Hole Designs new release!

Welcome to Santa Says! I used this brand new stamp set along side an old set called Poinsettias and Pinecones (which is on clearance by the way, just saying). I also used the Watercolor bubble paper in the background and the Diamond District Nesting Dies (which are so versatile you will find yourself using them often).

I colored everything with my copics and glued it all to a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card!

I hope you will go to The Rabbit Hole Designs and checkout what else is new!

Circles:

 Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing this very elegant card I made using some of the latest products from Emily Moore Designs.

The products I used were:

The Decorative Circles Die

The Buttons Die

The Gentle Reminders Stamp set

The Dainty Dots Stencils

I kept the color palette simple so as to focus on the sentiment as I feel this is a beautiful message we all need to be reminded of.

I started with a 5.5 x 4.25 card base of which I cut one inch off the front. I then glued gold shimmer cardstock to the inside so you get this two tone affect. I stenciled the front with metallic gold ink and the fun dot stencil.

Then I just die cut the circles and heart buttons, added my sentiment and glued the circles together. Here you can choose to pop it with foam tape if you like. I then glued it to the card front careful not to get glue on the overhang.

I think the final result is elegant and the perfect card for anyone you love! Let me know what you think!

Squawk less

 Hello Friends,

Today I am sharing this fun little card I created using the Glamping with Tailette stamp set and Squawk Talk Stamp set both from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I used the clouds in my coffee stencil to create a subtle background sky. I then proceeded to stamp out my little scene. The little tufts of grass were from the Sweet as Ollie-Pop Stamp set. I colored all with my copics. I added a bit of glossy accents to the lights on the trailer for a bit of shine. Popped up the sentiment with some foam tape and we are done! Easy Peasy.

Miss You Pixi style

 Good Morning Everyone,

By now I am sure you have heard or seen the latest release over at Pixi Dust Designs. My card today is using another die set, this one is called "God Will Meet all Your Needs". I changed out the sentiment and used the Classic Sentiments die instead. I made this one a shaker card by die cutting out a circle and covering it with acetate and who does not love a hummingbird?

Let's be Knotty

 Hello friends,

I am sharing yet another card using the Glamping with Tailette stamp and die set from The Rabbit Hole Designs! This set has so much to offer! I really enjoyed playing around with it.

For this card I used a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card base. I die cut an oval out of the front along with the cover paper. I created a sky and ground background on white paper using distress inks. I then stamped and die cut the trees and the sweet squirrel. I colored them with my copics and and added them to the white card stock careful that they would fit in the circle. I popped up the squirrel with foam tape. A quick sentiment and done!

I hope you will go check this set out and if you do use Code: HOLIDAYCARDSBYKIM  at check out for 10% off this and other select items.

Glamping

 Hello,

I am happy to be sharing this super fun card today. Especially with camping season upon us. I am using the Glamping with Tailette stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I stenciled the background with clouds in my coffee and distress oxide ink. I used a circle mask to create the sun and then inked it yellow.

I then stamped and colored the trees three times and die cut them for a wooded background. I colored the other stamps using my copics, die cut them out and popped them up using foam tape. Added the sentiment and I am done! I love how this came out.

You are the Light

 Hello Everyone

By now I hope you have seen the latest release over at Pixi Dust Designs.  It is called Pixi Promises and is all about faith and inspiration. Each set comes with an inspiration verse. I am using You are the Light of the World on this card. I did not use the quote so you can see that you could easily use this die set in many different ways.

I stenciled some sun rays for the background and then die cut the lantern and flowers. I used some acetate on the lantern to look like glass. I really love how pretty this all looks.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will go to the web site and see all the Design Team inspiration.

There is a new release over at The Pixi Dust Designs today. I am sharing this card I made using the new Be Strong and Courageous die set. This whole release is about inspiration and faith. The sentiment comes with the die set so it is easy peasy to create something fun.

For my card I just inked some clouds. I used the grass die from the Lord is my Shepard set. I die cut the lion and flowers and cut out a bolder to make it look like he was jumping. So fun. Thanks for stopping by!

Calla Lilies

 Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing this beautiful card I made using the Calla Lilies die and the Elegant Trellis Die. I also used the classic sentiments die all from Pixi Dust Designs. This card was so easy to make and yet is such a pretty card.

I simply cut all the dies out the placed the trellis die onto a colored cardstock. I then added some color to the lilies and glued them together. Finally I just popped on the sentiment and added a few gems.

This one could be made in so many colors!

Hi, hello, hey

 Good Morning!

Today I am sharing with you a cute card I made using the Hi, Hey, Hello short and sweet die, from Emily Moore Designs. I also used the Shaker Frame Die-the Doily and the Vertical Pocket Die.

I made this card on a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card base. I cut the background paper to fit the card. I cut the shaker frame in a solid cardstock along with the word sentiments. The vertical pocket die I cut with patterned paper to match the background and then cut the pocket to approximately 2 inches tall.

I added acetate behind the shaker frame and then glued the center circle on top. I put foam tape on the back being careful it did not show through the acetate, then put shaker bits on the center of the card and proceeded to put the topper over it.

Glued down the sentiment and some dots and there you have it!

I had so much fun I did another in a different color

Don't Worry be yappy

Hello,

Wanted to share this fun card I made using the Rabbit Hole Designs Sweet as an Ollie-Pop stamp set.

First I stamped the cute pups where I wanted them on the paper and then masked them off so I could do the background.

To create the background I used the Clouds in my Coffee stencil also from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I placed the cloud down and used distress oxide ink in Tumbled Glass around it.
The I took the little grass tuft stamp and stamp it continuously across the bottom, plus I stamped some extra on a separate piece of paper to color and cut out. I colored the grass with my copics YG67, 63 and 25.

I then unmasked and colored these sweet corgis using my copics. YR24, YR23 and YR21.
I also stamped and cut out the bone and ball. I used foam tape to pop up the ball, bone and tufts of grass. Added this to a piece of cardstock and then to my cardfront. A cute sentiment and voila!

I paired this with the Holiday background builder set stencil and the Woof Stencil. I started by coloring my images using copics. I stayed with YR24, YR23 and YR21. I then used the matching dies to cut them out.

I used Distress oxide ink for the background in Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber. I then stenciled the stars and paw prints and popped the images using foam tape. Added a sentiment and we are done!

Daffodil

 Hello,

Kim here today sharing with you how I made this card. Now I know Sympathy cards can be difficult to make but I feel this one is quite elegant.
I am using the Daffodil die set that comes with this sentiment, from Pixi Dust Designs. I am also using the Stitched Rectangle Slim line

I started off with by die cutting all my pieces. On my original card, I colored the stems but I decided to cut them from green paper this time. So I cut  two stems in green, the middle pieces to the flower both twice in green and the sentiment in green. The flower heads I cut in white, two pieces each. For the rectangles I used the three largest. The biggest is the same color as my card base, the next one in green then the next one again the same as the card base.

I then added a bit of color to the flower heads using my copics. I used Y15 and Y11 to add just a hint of yellow.

After some coloring and blending I added the center pieces one on top of the other with a bit of glue. On top of those I added the next piece using a bit of foam tape to give it a more 3D look. Lastly I glued the third piece on top

For the stems I took the long stem and slid it between layers and added a bit of glue then applied the top piece to the flower stem.

Now to assemble the card! The easy fun part. I got my card base and glued the first layer of the stitched slimline rectangle to it. The next layer, (the green one) I applied foam tape to pop it up a bit and the same with the third and final layer.

Time to add the flowers and sentiment. I struggled really with which way to assemble. As you can see they fit either way but for some reason my eye wanted the horizontal version.

With that being said, I glued it all down and added just a touch of sequence to fill in some of the blank space.

So there you have it, easy peasy! What do you think?

Have a crafty day!

With Sympathy

 Hello again!

I am sharing another card today, this time using products from Pixi Dust Designs. I don't usually make Sympathy Cards as I find it hard to get out the right balance of sympathy, respect and dignity, but this card I think fills all the requirements.

I started with a black base, then added the Damask background die in white. Then using the Daffodil Die Set I cut out the sentiment in black. The flower I cut out in white and colored with my copics. So elegant and easy to make. Of course you can use the daffodil die set for many other occasions by swapping out the sentiment.

Let me know what you think and if you make sympathy cards. Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Cake

PINK AND CHOCOLATE GIFT CARD HOLDER

Hello everyone, today I want to share with you how I made this fun chocolate cake gift card holder card using all Products from Emily Moore Designs.

PRODUCTS USED

Make a cake gift card holder die

Happy Birthday Short and Sweet die

Shaker Frame Die Doily

Liquid glue

Foam tape

Sprinkles

Cardstock of your choice

Glitter or glitter glue

First I started by die cutting what I needed. Starting with a card base of 4 ¼ x 5 ½,  I put the die with a bit off the paper so it would leave me the fold for the card.

Next, I die cut two of the cake layers in chocolate, two of the top frosting in pink, I also cut the cake layers in pink just to use the frosting part as you can see, I need 6 of these. I cut the sentiment and the sentiment shadow in coordinating colors. Also, the frosting dollops and one doily.

Then I proceeded to glue the cake layers to the outside and inside of the card. Careful on the inside not to put glue on the tabs for the gift card. (learned the hard way haha).

Followed by the frosting layers. Two fit in the die perfectly, the third I placed on the top.

I then added the frosting on top of the layers on both the inside of the card and the card front. You can see it all coming together now!

After gluing the sentiment to the sentiment shadow, I adhered it to the inside of the card on the left, thus leaving the right side for a gift card.

Using foam tape, I put some on the dollops of frosting and I used liquid glue for the frosting border. I then applied all of these to the front of the card.

Next, I took the doily I had die cut and cut both ends off at ¾ of an inch. I am using this to add some extra icing to the cake top.

I then glued it to the top of the cake on the front to look like two big dollops of frosting. From there I proceeded to add some sprinkles for that fun birthday affect! I went ahead and added some glitter glue too. You could skip this part or add some glitter, whatever makes you smile!

I hope this inspires you to go out and create something fun!
