Happy Sunday!
What a great weekend. I booked a trip this week down to Florida to visit my brother and his lovely family. I cannot wait to go, will be there in a few weeks!
My cupcake card won at IDIC that is very exciting free digital stamps gotta love it!
Meanwhile, I am making up cards to keep me up to date while I am away. Today's card is a bit funny. It is for my brother in law's birthday this month. I know he will appreciate it. The image is from Kenny K downloads. The sentiment is from Graphicat. Both are digital images. All the paper is from my scrap pile. I colored them using copics.
Hope you find it as amusing as I did.
I am entering this card in the following challenge:
One Stitch at a Time use a Digi.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Flying High
Hi Everyone,
Hope we are all doing well. My week has not been that busy so I took advantage and have been making up some cards and doing a little scrapping. I will eventually have to post some of my scrap book pages, but I have not been that brave yet haha!
Today I made birthday card for my daughter's boyfriend. He just passed his test for his commercial pilot's license. We are very happy for him. So I thought this card would be appropriate.
But before I get into that I should mention that my daughter Ashley (said girlfriend) was picked as the freshman academy teacher of the month! What an over achieving pair these two are. She has been a high school teacher for 3years, but this is her first year at this school and her first teaching freshman. We are very proud of her.
Ok enough of my bragging. Today's card is fun, the image is actually a clip art image from Arthur's Free Air Transport Clip Art. I picked a Cessna plane because that is about all I know of planes except that they fly. Colored with Copics. Made a card out of Kraft paper and distressed all my paper on it. The sentiment stamp is from Stampendous. Metal clip is from Making Memories. The ticket stub is a Tim Holtz. The brads and buttons and little passport I had in my stash.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Incy Wincy Designs Something Old/Something new (Old paper, brads, embellies, New image)
Paper Pretties Masculine
Phindys Place Challenge Distressed
Hope you enjoyed your little visit. Thanks for taking a peek. Would love to hear from you.
I am off to make another card, maybe for my brother this time.

Sweet Chick
Good Afternoon,
What a beautiful day today, very warm and another one for tomorrow! So seeing it feels like spring, I made a card that has a spring/easter feel to it.
Before I go on though, I would like to thank everyone who has commented on my posts and to let you all know that my sister loved her card and she is doing well. Of course I gave it to her with whoopie pies so that made it even sweeter, haha.
So my card today was my first attempt at an easel card. It was not as hard as I thought it might be. I found a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers and that helped me along.
The stamp I used is a digital stamp from Phindy's Place. I just bought it today because it was so cute. The small basket was a separate stamp from great impressions that I stamped, colored and cut out to attach to the card. I thought she needed a little basket or purse to match her bonnet!
I colored her using Copics of course my favorite thing ever. The background paper is a Basic Grey called spheres, but it reminded me of chicken coop wire, don't ask me why. I used Spellbinders dies to make the eyelet circle and the tag on the inside of the card. The sentiment I just typed on my computer. The flowers and rhinestones I had in my stash. I used a little liquid pearl in buttercup for the center of the flower on her hat. I also added a bit of glitter to the flowers.

Cupcakes Help
Hi Everyone,
Hope we are all enjoying our weekend. I do love Sundays, I usually do most of my cardmaking on Sundays.
Today I have a special little card for my younger sister. She ended up in the hospital unexpectedly for two days. She came home today and is doing well, but needless to say, no one wants to be in the hospital. So I thought this card might cheer her up as the little girl is holding a cupcake and who does not love cupcakes?
I used a LaLa Land stamp Sugar and Spice Marci. I have used her before but she is very cute. I colored her with copics. I used a Memory Box Die for the hearts, added some rhinestones to them and some flowers that I punched out. I added buttons to the paper flowers I had in my stash. A little bakers twine and a Tim Holtz tag for some encouraging sentiment.
I hope she likes it, I am sure she will if I give it to her with a cupcake haha.

So here is my card. I used a digital stamp from Squigglefly called Welcome home. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I colored this with Copics and added a little glossy accents to the lady bug dots and the windows to give them some shine. I used a memory box die for the swirl, a Martha Stewart punch for the border and a Spellbinders to cut out the image. I stitched around my papers. The flowers are from recollections and the leaves are from Bazzill papers. The actual paper is just from my scrap pile.
I hope you like it, I love the little lady bug arm around the bee, how cute and their heart antennae.
Now hop on over to Sweet Stampin and check out the other DT member's cards, I am sure you will be
impressed, as they are a talented bunch!

Think Spring
Hello Everyone,
So the weather is a bit crazy here. It has been snowing all day but not really accumulating. Kind of a crazy winter, it snowed on Halloween and then not again until now...strange.
So I went shopping with my sister yesterday at my favorite store and Oh My they are getting in all the new items for spring. I did some shopping and got some great papers from Webster's pages, the Memory Box dies are beautiful and I had to add to my Copic collection. Of course my wish list was a mile long by the time I left the store.
That being said, today's card is a sweet spring time treat. I used a Magnolia Tilda stamp and colored her in purples and yellows. The sentiment I did myself on the computer. The flowers are all from Recollections that I bought at Michaels on clearance, nice. I added lots of rhinestones and a butterfly from my stash, which I just added some more rhinestones to.
I am entering her in the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday Signs of Spring.
Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes
The Stamp Man Colors of Spring.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you feel a little closer to spring now haha.
Let me know what you think!
