Hi Everyone,
So this post was suppose to go this morning but I was having troubles with blogger. Would not let me upload any pictures. So had to wait for my daughter the computer whiz to help me out.
So today at Sweet Stampin' it is a new challenge, and it is "Anything But a Birthday". So we all know there are plenty of other occasions which call for cards so let's see them.
We are being sponsored by both our weekly sponsor
and our monthly sponsor.
Here is my card. I used an adorable image from Mo's digital pencil and colored him with copics.
The dragon fly and clouds are Memory Box dies and the sentiment came with the digital stamp. Hope you like him. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will find the time to enter our challenge. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Celebrate The good
Hi Everyone,
So I am back from my vacation in Las Vegas. A bit of mixed emotions. We left for Vegas on Monday, only to get there and find out what happened right here at the Boston Marathon. For those of you who don't know me, I grew up 15 minutes north of Boston. This was awful, how anyone could do this is beyond me. It made me sad to think that a great tradition like the Boston Marathon where runners come from all over the world come to participate will now be tainted with this awful happening. I kept thinking what a terrible world we live in.
Then I started to hear amazing stories of courage, empathy, self sacrifice by ordinary citizens helping one another. I heard it on the news, on facebook and blogs. The compassion was felt all over the world. I started to realize that this world is really not so bad, that the majority of people are caring, kind and considerate. That unfortunately, there are lunatics in the world and there always will be. But what is more important is how we as a whole react to these situations, and I must say that after hearing all these stories I want to celebrate the good in mankind. Not just here in Boston but everywhere around the world, because I know that all of us would do what we could to help anyone in need.
There has been some awful, awful happenings here in the USA the past few months, but the way people come together afterwards, helps us all heal and we know that we will not tolerate this behavior.
So in honor of all of those injured and killed (my prayers are with you), and all of those who helped in anyway they could, along with the law enforcements and emergency responders, I celebrate your courage and your selfless acts of kindness.
This is my card:
This sweet little girl is from Mo's Digital Pencil. I colored her with copics. Of course I used the American red, white and blues to keep it patriotic. Hope you like her. I wanted to celebrate the good in the world.
Thanks for stopping by. I am happy to be home again and hope you are all well and safe.

Birthday boy
Hi Everyone,
So hope you all enjoyed the Easter holiday! Of course we did and we ate too much and maybe drank too much hehe! But it was a great day.
Now I am trying to get ahead on my cards because in two weeks I leave for Vegas!!!! Yup my husband, myself, my oldest daughter and her boyfriend. (My younger daughter is going in June with her friend :( she will be missed with us.) Bet she does not miss us though when she is there haha.
So we leave on Monday, but on Sunday my daughter Ashley's boyfriend is having a birthday! So I made him this card. Yes he plays soccer and yes he has dark hair, (Italian, you know what I mean).
I used a Kenny K image and colored him with copics. I added some glossy accents to the ball to make it shine. The letters are rub ons.
Thanks for stopping by! I must run now and do all my DT cards.
