Aged

Hello Everyone,

So hope you are all well. I am doing fine. So it is spring and with the warm weather fast approaching, I realized that I am not as young as I would like to be hehe! All those great summer fashions seem to be much more appealing on a woman of 30 than a woman of 50 ahem! But anywho, I am hoping that I am aging somewhat gracefully.

My oldest daughter (25 years old) just moved out this week and it has made me realize that at her age, I was already married with one child. So I am feeling a bit old and sentimental this week. I am happy life is good, but I am sad that it goes by so fast. I am sure you are all in agreement, the years just fly on by.

So on my card today I used a Sherry Baldy stamp again (love these), that just reminds me of a glamorous older woman. Maybe it is the hair or the outfit, who knows but I think she is lovely. I colored her in more sepia tones and made it a bit distressed in keeping with the feel of an older generation. Hope you like her!

I am entering her in the following challenges:

Besties Challenge:  Monochrome
Fussy and Fancy Friday:  Anything Goes
