Carrots, carrots, carrots

 Good Morning,

Today I am excited to share with my adorable carrots . These carrot boxes are from Pixi Dust Designs and are so much fun!!! I have made multiple colors and styles and want to share with you how!

So this is the die set there is also the bunny butt dies too. You ca see what I die cut. Two of the base, 4 backings and 4 carrot fronts a circle and two leaves. I suggest you use at least 80 pound cardstock to give you a sturdy carrot.

Then I folded on all the score lines of the base and burnished them. The dies cut so well it is very easy to work with. I then glued the carrot fronts to the back and proceeded to glue to the base. You then need to cut a circle from one side, the side with the longer top as this will be the front of the box.

I then added a small square of acetate to the back to make a window. This way I can fill the carrot with candy or what not and it won't fall out.

Then I glued the flaps and connected to the two bases. Easy peasy. You can then add the leaves as many as you like but careful not to glue over the hole if you want to put a string through it. I then put together the bunny butt and attached it to the carrot. Done!

I made others that I filled with cany and attached a name tag to so they could be a place card holder for easter dinner.

Thanks for stopping by!
