Happy Holidays and a Healthy New Year

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to take a moment and wish you all Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a Healthy New Year.
In this crazy world where we hear of hideous crimes on the news, see people suffering and deal with rude people in our every day life, it is nice to come to my blog and be around the most positive people. I am always impressed with the way we encourage each other to do what we love and to learn and grow.
It gives me faith that the world is a wonderful place and we can never let others get us down.

So here's to all of you who gave me such great comments on my creations and have encouraged me to continue to do what I love THANK YOU!

Thanks to the design teams Sweet Stampin' and Color Me Creative for letting me be part of something fun!

Hugs,

Kim

We're Friends and Family

Hi everyone!!

It's almost Christmas and though we all have family and friends we enjoy spending time with at this time of the year, we also have family and friends that we don't see or visit with often enough but still mean just as much to us!  Us gals on the Design Team ofColor Me Creative Challenge Site wanted to take a moment to send a big HUG and a special thanks to our fearless leader, Suzanne Dean.

Suzanne HAS to be the easiest and sweetest person to work with and, as many of you know from reading her blog, about the funniest too (though sometimes we ALL think she'd be better off leaving the house in bubble wrap! LOL)  *Kidding!!*

As you may have figured out, Suzanne adores the time she spends with her family and quite often shares her travels and outings with us.  So, as a little way to encourage her to continue doing what she loves best AND to keep sharing it with us... the DT would like to invite you to share in our little blog hop sharing our creations for Suzanne that remind us of family, sharing, recording memories and love.  Suzanne is a perfect example of how to share as much time as you can with those you love and to create memories that will last a lifetime for generations to come.

So here's to you, Suzanne... we love you, your crazy ways and think you are just like family to us as well.

.

Now head on over to Shelby Goolsby and enjoy the awesome project she is sharing with Suzanne.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you have a VERY Merry Christmas and that you make all the memories and treasured times you can with your family and friends!

We love you, Suzanne and thank you for another fabulous year with the CMC DT "family"!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!

White and one other

Good Morning Friends,

I know I have not been around much lately. Came back from Italy and had the flu, then I have been playing catch up with  my Christmas shopping and baking, etc. But I am sure you do not want to hear about that. So I will tell you about the new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' it is White and One other.

So you know the drill, any image will do must you must stamp on there somewhere and follow the theme.

We have two great sponsors, our monthly sponsor Ribbon Girl and our weekly sponsor this week is The Stamp Fairy, who donated these lovely images for us to use. Here is my creation.

I hope you can find the time to join us in this challenge. I look forward to seeing what you create.

Thanks for stopping by,
Kim

Holiday fun at CMC

Good Morning Everyone,

So hopefully if you are reading this my post went as planned hehe. I am in Italy right now enjoying myself. But that does not mean I forgot about my fellow DT members over Color Me Creative. A lot of fun going on there at this time of year.

Of course we have our challenge which is Holiday Themed, naturally. So you can  use any image and create any project, as long as you have some coloring on there and it is holiday themed.
This is going to be a month long challenge so you have until January 3rd to get your project posted. We will have lots of prizes and some fun games.

Suzanne is also offering a special on some of her classes, check this out, if you ever wanted to improve your coloring and learn some fun techniques, this your chance!

So go ahead, sign up and give it a try, tell her Kim sent you hehe! You will not be disappointed.

So this is my card for this challenge. I used a cling stamp from Stampendous called Magical Snowman. I colored with Copics. E44, E43, E42, E41, R59, R24, YG67, YG63, YG61, BG10.

So I hope you will go check out all the fun happening at CMC this month and join in with us. I look forward to seeing what you are up to.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kim

Short and Sweet

Hi Everyone,

I am keeping this short and sweet, on my way to Rome, Italy today (so excited) but I wanted to get in a quick post before I left, so here it is.

This stamp is a Photopolymer stamp from Tina Wenke, got him on Christmas clearance last year, how cute!
I colored him with copics and kept it quite simple as I have been pressed for time, just like many of you. Hosting holidays, decorating, packing, cleaning, shopping and oh yeah working to pay for it all hahaha!
Have a great week everyone and I will post a picture or two when I get back.

CMC Anything Goes

Good Morning Everyone,

It is bitter cold and windy here in Massachusetts today. Definitely feels like winter is here. I don't mind because I have no plans on leaving the house haha. I am however, starting to pack for my trip to Rome, Italy. I cannot wait, we leave the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I have never been to Italy so this will a great experience for me.

But enough about me, over at Color Me Creative we have a new challenge and it is everyone's favorite, Anything Goes. Just remember you have color using alcohol markers or colored pencils. It is that simple.
Here is what I did.

This image is from Digi My World who is sponsoring this challenge and gave us these great images to use.

I colored mine using Copic Markers.

Girls Hair: E18, E15, YR20

Dress:  YG 25, YG03, YG00

Boy's Hair:  E35, E31, E50

Pants;  E44, E43, E42

Shirt:  R89, R85, R83

So I hope you will join us this challenge for a chance to win two great prizes.

Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate!

Good Morning Friends,

Today at Sweet Stampin' we are Celebrating! Sweet Stampin' is 4 years old, Happy Birthday!!! And in honor of such a celebration we have extra prizes to give away for this challenge. So you have the opportunity to win four different prizes. They are as follows:

Monthly Sponsor:   The Ribbon Girl
Weekly Sponsors:  Bunny Zoe
                              Crafters Companion
                              Wild Orchid Crafts

So you cannot win if you do not enter, so this weeks theme is naturally "Celebration". So lets see your creations using that theme and don't forget to stamp something since that is what we are all about!

Here is what I came up with:

I chose to celebrate the holiday season and all the fun things to do this time of year. This sweet image is from Saturated Canary, which I colored with my copics. The lamp post is a Tim Holtz die. The Poinsettia and greens is a Marianne Creatable die. Hope you try something of your own.

Thanks for stopping by.
