Let's try this again!

Hi Everyone!

I have decided to slowly introduce myself back into blogging. Now some of you are saying who cares or who are you hahaha, others may say, I think I remember her but either way I am here and there is nothing you can do about it hehe.

For those of you who are interested (and I hope there is at least one of you), I have had a lot go on in my world over the past year or so. I will not bore you with the small stuff but share some fun stuff. First and foremost, my oldest daughter Ashley got married!!!! It was a fun year with lots of planning and the day came and went so quickly but was just magnificent. Yes I am going to post a picture or two, what mom wouldn't?

The happy couple and their adorable flower girls and ring bearer, how cute?

Again the happy couple with their maid of honor, my youngest daughter Brittany and their best man.

All the vows said now on to many more years of happiness!!

So now that I subjected you to that, they were married on April 18th. Well on June 2nd, my wedding anniversary, they told us they are going to have a baby!!!! Well how exciting is that? So even though I think I am too young to be a grandmother (not really), I am thrilled with the news. So she is due February 9th. Hopefully not in the middle of a snow storm.

So all this means is that I am giving up my job outside the home and I will be staying at home starting next year and babysitting full time, a true test to see if I am old or not hahaha.

Anyway if you found this boring wait til I post baby pictures next year!!! But in the meantime, I do have a card to post. I just got back into being creative and I am having a lot of fun with it.

So this cutie is a digital stamp I got last year from Wee Stamps, called Hazel. I colored her using my copics and and lots of stickles. That pumpkin I made using a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. It was the first time I used it and I loved it, it has a lot of dimension.

I hope you you leave me a little note just to say hello! Thanks for stopping by,

Kim

Slow it down.

Hi Everyone,

So you may or may not have noticed but I have not been around much. Life has just been too hectic. Not complaining just stating fact. I had to give up all my Design Teams for now because I could not meet deadlines. I love creating but with everything I had going on it felt more like a job of deadlines than a creative outlet.

So while I may be posting less, I am enjoying whatever I do create. Today I am sharing a card with you that I made for my great niece who is going to be baptized this weekend. She is absolutely beautiful!

I used an image from Mo's Digital pencil that I colored with my copics. The papers are a 6 x 6 pad from Prima called Princess, rather fitting I think lol.
I used Stickles all over her jacket and lace trim to give her some bling, (every girl needs some bling).

I hope everyone else out there is doing well. I am trying to slow it down a bit and make my life a bit less stressful.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come by again.

Hugs,
Kim

Birthday wishes

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. I have been in a creative slump lately. Not really feeling it. Hoping my creativity comes back to me soon. In the meantime though we have a new challenge at Color Me Creative. It is Birthdays!

So I hope you will join us for this one. For me April is a pretty quiet birthday month, except for my soon to be  son in law, who did just turn 30 this month! (Love that guy).

So here is what I came up with.

Of course it was not for my soon to be son in law hahaha. This image is from La La Land it is Sitting Princess Marci. Who doesn't want to be a princess on their birthday!

I colored her with copics of course.

Dress:  YG 25, YG23, YG21, V17, V15, V12, V01
Hair:  E35, YR23, and YR20
Skin:  E11, E00, E000

We are being sponsored by  iCopic

The only rules are to color with alcohol markers or colored pencils and follow the birthday theme.
Thanks for stopping by.

Life is Good!

So hello all!

I know I have not been around much, just my crazy life right now, a lot going on but should settle down in a month or so. I do have good news to share though, my oldest daughter just got engaged!!!!!

We are so excited. Of course that just added to my list of to do's haha. We went out all day yesterday checking out the venues where she may want to have her wedding. It was a lot of fun. So be prepared for my wedding updates. Of course she fell in love with one of the venues but she may have to change her dated from Saturday to Sunday she will find out this week if her date will be available. So it begins haha!

But enough of my ramblings....We have new challenge at CMC and it is everyone's favorite, ANYTHING GOES. Here is what I came up with.

This beauty is a digital stamp and  was given to us by our sponsor this week who is Aurora Wings

I colored her using my copics
HAIR:  E29, E25, E31,E50
FLOWERS:  R17, R14, R13, R10
LEAVES:  YG67, YG63 AND G20

So I hope you will join in this easy challenge. Any image, any theme as long as you use alcohol markers or colored pencils.
Go see what the other DT members created, they are all awesome.

Sparkle it

Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well. Sorry I have not been around much, just been busy. But we do have a new challenge over Color Me Creative and is is Sparkle it. Any image as long as you use alcohol markers or colored pencils and include some sparkle!

Here is what I did.

The stamp is a digi from our sponsor this week Paper Makeup Stamps

I colored her using my copics:  BG 78, BG75, BG72, YR18, YR14, YR12, E11, E00, E000.
I put lots of stickles on the orange part of her dress and on the flowers, not sure you can see it, I also put it on her wings.

Show Some Skin

Good Morning Friends,

So yesterday would have been my mom's 81st birthday, unfortunately she passed 4 years ago, but of course I miss her all the time so this card is appropriate for this day. Yet ironically neither me or my mom looked like this beauty hehe!

Another new post over at Color Me Creative today and it is Show Some Skin. That's right, color any image you want as long as some skin is showing. Also you must remember to use your alcohol markers or colored pencils to join along in the fun.

Here is what I came up with

This gorgeous lady is actually a digital stamp from our sponsor this challenge who is
Digi Stamps for Joy. Go check out all her fun stamps!
