Custom Cards

Good Afternoon,

So this week I got a custom order to create three mother's day cards all for women who were celebrating their first mother's day. I thought that is so exciting, I remember way back in the day when I celebrated my first mother's day. Now that same daughter is a mother herself!

So this is just one of the cards I created. This is a digital stamp from Molly Harrison Art which I thought this was so sweet because it reminds me how many nights new moms spend not sleeping because of their babies.  But the big heart above her head says it all.

I colored this image with my copics and I added some Stickles for a little extra glitter on her wings. I don't normally decorate the inside of cards but decided to do so on this one because I wanted to the sentiment on the inside.

Trick or treat

Hello World!

Hope you are all doing well. We are surviving. Still crafting away and on line shopping lol. The other day I was like whoa I am waiting for 13 packages to arrive. How can I justify that? Oh I know, I have not put gas in may car in almost 2 months, have not had my hair done which I used to do every 3 weeks, have not been to a restaurant, cannot take my granddaughters out for lunch, and no impulse buying at Target! hahahaha.

Today's card is another Halloween which I am stocking up on before I start xmas ones. He is just the cutest in his dracula cape. This is Count Dracula Noah from Sassy Cheryls.

Front line heros

Hello Everyone,

Hope we are all hanging in there! We can do this right? We have made it this far, so we can see it through to the end. During this time,  we all know there are people out there working so hard every day to help us through this. Here is a cute little thank you card for one of those front line workers, depicted wearing a cape like a true superhero!

Red, white and blue for you

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post today because I am suppose to be cleaning my house hahahaha! So today I decided to do this adorable thank you card which I think fits for any occasion. I used an adorable digital image from Polkadoodles Stamps and colored her with my copics. I love the patriotic theme too!

Mother's Day

Good Morning Everyone,

Can't believe we had a little bit of snow this morning. I just want some warm weather! I did however, still take my walk outside today it was brisk but makes me feel better.

Today's card is for mother's day. I know it seems far away but it is not. My mom passed over 10 years ago but for those of you who still have moms around give them an extra hug of course when we can actually hug again lol.

Get Moving

Good morning friends,

So being trapped at home it is hard to get moving sometimes. This week I started walking a lot more just to get out of the house. Who knew I could be so out of shape lol. I put my jeans on once a week to make sure they still fit because living with a husband who loves to cook is not always a good thing haha.

Today's card is a bit out of season, but I was in the mood! This adorable witch is from Wee Stamps and she is called Hazel. She is one of my favorites.

The sun shines again!

Hi Everyone,

The sun is shining once again making it a bit more cheery around here. While I enjoy my alone time to craft, I am missing my shopping time hehe! Grateful to be healthy and in a good place and hoping you are too!

My son-in-law has a birthday today lots going on in his house this month, this is the second birthday and their anniversary too! Wow!

Today's card I used a stamp from La La Land it is a Marci as a mermaid! It could be for just about any occasion.

Rainy days and Mondays....

Good Morning Everyone,

So we survived Easter through Facetime lol. Thank goodness for modern technology, no substitute for hugs and kisses but at least we can see our loved ones.

You may all think I am crazy but today I have another Halloween card. I just have a lot of time on my hands right now so I figured I would get a jump on the fall and winter cards. I am using a digital stamp called Hazel from Wee Stamps. She is an oldie but goodie.

                                     
I think I will start on some graduation and mother day cards this week, but Halloween and Christmas are my favorites to make haha.

Missing my Family

Hi Everyone,

So I feel like this is day 100 of isolation lol. It has really been 3 weeks since I have been able to hug my kids and grandkids, so crazy. My youngest granddaughter turns 2 today! We will celebrate on line. Not that she will remember but I hate it.

Enough of my whining haha! Today's card is just about that, missing someone. I chose this digital stamp because it is so indicative of what we are doing today, communicating with computers. This stamp is from Sweet Escape.

Celebrations

Good Afternoon Friends,

So today I am sharing a card I made for my daughter and son-in-law for their 5th year Wedding Anniversary. It is next week and originally I had promised to take their two beautiful daughters overnight so they could go out and celebrate, but now we have a stay at home order and I cannot do that. I don't know who is more sad, me or them.

But either way five years is cause for celebration so I hope they make the most of it.

Hello Anyone?

Lol not sure anyone is seeing my blog, would love it if you just said hello if you are seeing this. Getting back out here has been slow for me, but I am definitely working at it and having fun in the process, so I guess that is all that matters.

Today's card is made with a new image I just purchased from the Paper Shelter. Oh my they have some cuties there. I thought this was appropriate since so many pets out there still need vets even in a pandemic. The vets I know have been amazing making sure the animals are cared for. So here is a little thanks.

Too Early for Witches?

Good Morning!

Anyone else starting to wonder if they may look a bit witchy since we cannot get our hair done lol!
I know it is getting scary around here ha!

So I thought I would get a jump on some holiday cards and some of my favorites to make are Halloween cards. Just so fun, they can be cute or scary. This particular one is cute, cute, cute!

Again I colored her with my copics and added a little Glossy Accents in all the right places.

Name change!

Hi Everyone!

So today I decided to change the name of my blog! Crazy right? Well I figured since I just started back this is the best time to do so. So I currently have an Etsy shop and Facebook page called Crafts for All Occasions, where I make and sell wreaths of all kinds. I thought it would be nice to just keep it all the same! So hence my new name Crafts for All Occasions. I will change the URL after all the challenges I have currently entered are done. So that means probably May 4th.

So I hope you will follow along on my new journey and see what new things will be!

Is it summer yet?

Happy Saturday Everyone!

So finally the sun is shining here in wonderful Massachusetts, but it is still a bit nippy out there.
I cannot wait for summer and beach weather. Hopefully by then this virus will be gone and we can enjoy family and friends again!

So this card I made is a bit simple but I wanted this image to stand out. It is an old digital stamp I have had from La La Land Stamps. She is so cute in her little bikini. I added the sweet starfish charm to go along with the beach theme. Starfish are so fun. When we were at a beach in Curacao we saw some huge starfish they were beautiful.

Red, white and blue

Hi All,

Have been crafting away and exploring some new digital stamps. While mind you, I do have a bunch of them already, there are so many new ones out there I would love to color. So I may be doing a bit of shopping later. What are your favorite sites to shop from?

Today's card is a bit patriotic in its red, white and blue theme. I love this little girl just waiting for the parade to march on by. I believe this stamp is also from Mo's Digital Pencil. I have once again used copic markers to color her as that is basically my medium of choice. Having just started back at this, I realize I need some new papers too! Looks like some online shopping is going to be my afternoon fun!

Hello Again!

Good Morning!

Today's card is an Easter one with an image I have had for a long time. It is called Easter Carly and it was from Mo's Digital Stamps. I colored this with my copics and thought she was just the sweetest. Naturally it is going to one of my granddaughters!

Easter will be lonely this year with just my husband and I but thank goodness for modern technology so we can at least Facetime each other and watch videos of the Easter egg hunt!

Just like riding a bike...

So here I am again. Just so you all know it took me forever to remember how to do my post and enter challenges lol. But just like riding a bike it comes back to you even if you fall a couple of times.

If you are the advice giving kind let me have it. It has been a few years since I have done this, so I am sure there are better techniques and new ways of doing things, feel free to enlighten me, I would love it.

So today's card I made for my other granddaughter Ryan who is going to be 2 this month. I got to see them from the car today. I miss their hugs and kisses and the sweet way they smell like pure goodness.

The image is a Sassy Cheryl's. I tried to find her again but I believe she no longer has a blog or facebook page. But I love this image because it is just sweet!
