Hi Everyone,
So how are y'all doing? Life is good here. Getting ready to go out to Las Angeles, CA next month. My husband has a conference out there and I am going along for the ride. Never been to LA so looking forward to it. If there is something, I should definitely see while there let met know, I would love to hear your experiences.
Speaking of next month, I guess that officially is tomorrow. Yes we made it through January, not too bad, now to get through February, the next snowiest month. Just that much closer to spring!
So for my card today, it may not be everyone's idea of a great card, but I don't believe it is offensive, just not everyone's cup of tea. As for me, I think it is awesome hehe. But my sense of humor and adventure may be different than yours!
I used a Kenny K image and the sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo. Let me know what you think.
I am entering this incredibly good looking card (hehe) in the following challenges:
Love to Create Challenge: Anything goes with sentiment.
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: anything goes.
Thanks for stopping by!

Love
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well. Woke up to a bit of snow this morning, yuck! I hate the snow as much as I hate the cold and it has been freezing. But go figure tomorrow should be in the 50's, got to love New England weather.
I know I have not posted in a bit, been rather busy, thought it was suppose to slow down after Christmas, guess not! Oh Well.....
Today's card was a free image from Saturated Canary that I just loved so I had to color it right away. Of course I have made a ton of Valentine's Cards and have no one to give them to haha. Wish my kids were little again, they used to love Valentine's Day.
I colored her with my copics and made a relatively simple card, but the colors are bright which I love.
I am entering this in the following challenge:
C.R.A.F.T. challenge: Valentine's Day/love
Have a great day!

Frillies
Good morning friends
Hello everyone! I am a little sad I did not get many comments for my candy, but it is good for those who did comment better chance for you to win and thank you for commenting. If you have not commented it is not too late, I am not doing the drawing until tomorrow.
On a brighter note, today at Sweet Stampin' we have a new challenge, a new one to me too, called "Show us your Frillies". That can be a ruffled dress, ruffle ribbon, paper frills, lacey frills, etc. So for me I did this fun Valentine's Day card.
Of course we have wonderful sponsors too. Our monthly sponsor is The Ribbon Girl
.
Next is a weekly sponsor Lili of the Valley
Tilda is wearing ruffled trim, the ribbon is a bit ruffly and I thought the feathers were a bit frilly. I colored this sweet Tilda using my Copics of course. I even did black hair which I am not that good at but I figured I needed the practice.
I am entering her in the following challenge:
The ABC challenge: F for favorite Tilda
Thanks for stopping by,
Kim

Sweet Scoop
Good Morning,
Just a quick little post this morning of a card I did yesterday just for fun. I have had this stamp from Stamping Boutique for months. I believe I won it in a challenge but this is the first time I used it. Reminds me of those Conversation Heart candies you get at Valentine's Day.
Nothing fancy, but kind of cute. I colored it with copics. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the heart, Spellbinder dies for the circle and scallop circle and EK Success punch for the corners.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out my Anniversary candy, leave a comment and be follower for a chance to win. You have until Sunday when the comment will be randomly drawn!

Happy Anniversary To Me
Hi Everyone!
So exciting to know that this week I will be celebrating my one year anniversary of my blog! My first post was January 8, 2012. I remember how excited I was when I go my first comment, even if it was from my sister hehe. (I still get excited to read my comments.)
So I went looking back and realized that some of my first comments are from people I still follow, one of the very first was from Brook from My Padded Craft Room, and now I just started on the DT from Color Me Creative with her.
Another was from Scrappin Sista from Alice Brown Creations who I still follow and we frequently leave comments to each other.
I am not sure if we realize how a simple comment can encourage someone but these comments were so kind, as all of my comments have been, that they encouraged me to continue on.
My second post was a card called Super Mom which I entered in my first challenge and won ironically that challenge was Color Me Creative Challenge, now here I am starting this week as a DT member there. I found this very amusing.
Anyway enough of my rambling. In honor of all of my wonderful followers and their kind words of encouragement, I am giving away a small token of appreciation.
Just a few little goodies to one lucky reader. All you have to do is leave a comment and be a follower. Feel free to spread the word to other friends, I always welcome new followers. In two weeks on January 20th, one lucky comment will be randomly picked to win the prize.
So again, thank you to all of you who continuously take the time to read a post and comment on it!
Hugs to all,
Kim

First Post New Team
Hi Everyone,
I am very excited to be posting as a new DT member for Color Me Creative.
We have a new challenge that runs until January 18th. This weeks challenge is Pastels.
The only rule is that you must use YOUR COPICS, ProMarkers, other alcohol markers or Colored Pencils!!
So that is easy right? This challenge is being sponsored by Paper Makeup Stamps of which I used Aurora Fairy.
Also every month all the challenge entries are put in a drawing for a monthly prize from Oozak for a $50 Gift Certificate.
COPICS USED
WINGS/PANTS: YG 25, 03 00
DRESS AND DOLL: RV 21, 10, 00
HAIR: E29, 25, 33, 50
SKIN: E11, 000, 00, R20
If you have never been to CMC Challenge you need to check it out. Suzanne Dean is amazing, she has great things going on at the Color Me Creative Classroom. Her on line classes are the best if you want to learn more about how to use your copics. I took these classes and refer to the all info she gave out quite often.
I hope you will take a few minutes to see what it is all about. If you have entered her challenges before, you know how fun it is.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will drop in again soon as I will have a special post soon in honor of my one year blog anniversary.

New things
Hi Everyone,
So it is the start of the new year and a time to try new things. You know all those resolutions we make and never keep hehe! Well today I am ending my term at Pixie Dust Studio. This will be my last card for them.
It was a lot of fun and Kathy and all the DT members are great over there. I wish them all the best. As for me I just want to try some new things this year and spread my wings a bit.
So appropriately this weeks challenge is Something New. You could do new baby, new house, try a new technique, etc. I used a new die (the clouds), also figured that congrats would be good for any new thing.
I hope you will enter this challenge so I can see what you come up with! You don't have to use a Pixie Dust Image but you know it makes us smile when you do!
Thanks and I hope you will stop by tomorrow when I will have a new post about something new!
Big Pixie hugs
Kim
