Sketch 7

Hello Everyone,

Good Monday Morning! There is a new challenge today over at Graphicat Sketches. Once again Cheri has come up with an amazing Sketch to follow. Following a sketch is so fun, you have the layout so you can just pick your papers, embellies, etc. So easy you need to do it haha!

As you can probably tell, I turned the sketch on its side to make my card. You can do the same, whatever works for you. Make it your own!

I used a digital stamp from Saturated Canary called Boobie Love, for obvious reasons. How gorgeous is she? I colored her with copics. My sentiment naturally is from Graphicat Designs. You should go check this out, some of the best sentiments! Fun to work with.

The bows are a Martha Stewart punch, the flourish is a Memory Box Die. Everything else, you guessed from my stash and scrap pile.

Hope this makes you want to get out your crafting supplies and enter this great challenge. Go check out the other DT members cards for more inspiration, they are wonderful.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Lollipop Crafts:  anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenges: For a Special Lady
Fussy and Fancy: Punches and Dies

Thanks for stopping by,

Exciting News

Hi Everyone,

Yes I have exciting news, I have been chosen to be a Guest Design Team member for Whoopsiedaisy!
(Insert applause), thank you!
This is an honor for me. What a great opportunity to work with some of sweetest images! They have a new challenge every week which is so fun. There are two design teams so I will be posting every other week, but that will not stop me from using these images for everything haha!

So this weeks challenge:  Drumroll..... Pile on the Flowers! So come on now, how easy it that? You know you use flowers on everything hehe! Plus you can win some adorable stamps.

So my card for my first post I used an image from sheet 342, check her out...

I colored her with copics, the DP is from my scrap pile. The flowers are Recollections.
The flourish is a Memory Box Die and the scallop edge is a Nestabilities. I added some stickles to the flowers for a little extra sparkle. The sentiment is a rubber stamp, not sure from who and I punched it out using Marvy punches.

So I hope you will head over to Whoopsiedaisy and check out what the other DT members have created. I am just feeling my way around there and getting to know them but I can tell you from seeing their work, they are talented! So go on now what are you waiting for.....

I am entering her in the following challenges:

First Center Step Card

Hello Happy Wednesday Everyone!

So planning our summer vacation we are looking at Aruba. We have been there bofore and loved it. Thinking we may go again. Probably just my husband and I as my children are now too old to care about vacationing with us, they rather go with their friends, that's okay some alone time with my hubby is a good thing! He has a new job this year and it is very demanding, so he is not home much therefore, a week together without work will be nice.

I think we need to start looking at some new places for vacations, not really sure where to go next year, but would like to try something new.

Speaking of trying something new, my card today is my first ever Center Step Card. Now up until a year ago I did not even know these existed hehehe. Then I was afraid they would be hard, but guess what, they are not. I found it rather fun. I have really been stepping out of my comfort zone this week which has been fun.

This darling image is a digi from Whoopsiedaisy it is sheet 342, as they are sold in sheets with four images. How cute is she? I colored her with Copics, added some Stickles to her hat and tights.  The paper is from My Minds Eye called on the Bright Side. The flowers are Prima. All the punches, butterfly, bowl and leafs are Martha Stewart (I went on a bit of punch shopping binge the other day). Even the border punch is a Marth Stewart. The sentiment is a Stampendous Rubber Stamp.

I am entering her in the following challenges:

Card Making Mamas: Girlie
Crafty Creations: Little Girls
Creative Inmpsiration: Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs!

Rusty

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

My oldest came home from Vegas this weekend and told me it is magical there hahaha. I guess it would be when you are that young and don't gamble. Of course I would not mind a trip there myself. Instead I just went to my local craft store and spent some money on a few more Copics, although fun, not quite magical if you know what I mean!

So today's card is rather interesting. I am taking a Copic class over at Color Me Creative Classroom with Suzanne Dean and I am learning to color rust, you know the kind that shows up on metal items. So this is a wheelbarrel that she taught us how to color. I figured why waste it, so I made a card out of it.

It is a digital image from Fred She Said. The paper is from Bo Bunny and the flowers from Prima.
The sentiment stamp is a Penny Black. The butterfly is a die from Memory Box.
Let me know if you think it actually looks like rust. Of course when Suzanne did it, it looked beautiful, I need some more practice lol.

Thanks for dropping in.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Fussy and Fancy: Punches and Dies
Crafty Ribbons: Things with Wings
Joann Sheen: For someone Special

Mellow Yellow

Good Morning Everyone,

Just a quick post today, my husband is off from work today, nice to spend some time with him.
Today's card is something I tried to push myself a bit out of my comfort zone. I hate coloring yellow!
Don't know why, but I just don't like it. My first reaction was to color this dress pink, my favorite color, but decided not to take the easy route.

So I did it yellow, no sure I love how it came out but once put together on the card I thought it looked nice. Of course the image itself is beautiful, it is from Buy Sassy Studio, called Chelsea prom. I added some extra bling with the rhinestones because all prom dresses should have some bling. Let me know what you think.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

A & T Challenge, Emerald Faeries: Dazzle it.
Crafty Creations: yellow and your choice
CMC copic challenge:  yellow

Thanks for stopping by.

Inspiration Card

Hello Everyone,
We have been having such great weather around here it puts you in a good mood. At the moment all is good in my world. My husband has a lighter schedule this week as it is school vacation week so he comes home a bit earlier. My older daughter is in Vegas, told her to check in with me so I know she is well, so she checks in at 7:45 am which in Vegas means it is 4:45 am and she was just going to bed. Maybe I would be better off not knowing what she is up to lol! Oh well to be 24 again hahaha!

For my card today, I would like to thank one of the DT members at Sweet Stampin, Jenny. She did a card a few weeks ago for Sweet Stampin that I fell in love with. You can see it here: Craft by Jenny.

I was inspired to do something similar and I am glad I did, I love it.

The stamp is a digital stamp I used recently that I purchased from Squigglefly called Tulips display.
I colored it with my copics. The paper is from My Minds Eye 6 x 6 pad called On the bright side. The Sentiment is from a set from Recollections. The buttons (don't laugh) came from various clothes, you know when you purchase things and they give you the extra buttons, I save all mine and use them to scrap.

I hope you like it and I hope you will look at the inspiration card on Jenny's site. Thank you Jenny!!!!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Dutch Dare Challenges: Buttons and Bows
The Stamping Boutique: anything Goes
Creative Inspirations: Case It.

Have a great day!!!!!

Sketch 6

Good Monday Morning!
Hope everyone is doing fine. It is a holiday here for me, Patriot's Day, so the hubby is home nice.
We just a great weekend away just the two of us and it was perfect, the weather, the inn, the food all wonderful.

So enough of my weekend, today is a new Sketch Challenge over at Graphicat Sketches.
These sketches are always easy and fun so I hope you will join us and create something of your own to enter into the challenge. Cheri always gives away some nice prizes to the winner. So head on over and check it out, the DT members have created some great cards.

As you can see I turned the sketch around for my card.
For my image I used a digital image from Mosdigitalpencil called Time out. The sentiment is from Graphicat. I thought how appropriate. The paper is from a 6 x 6 pad, it has no name but it is compatible with Bo Bunny papers. The cardstock is from my scrap pile. So how cute is he? haha.

I am entering him in the following challenges:

Mos digital challenge: I see spots
Here Come the boys: Tiddley Peeps

Girlie but no pink!

Good Saturday Morning All,
It is time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This weeks challenge is Girlie but no Pink. I know very creative huh? We have two sponsors, first is our monthly sponsor Joanna Sheen.

Our second sponsor is Pollycraft who generously gave us images to work with.

So for my card, I colored the image with Copic markers, of course, no surprise there hehe. I used some glossy accents on the duck and the water to make them look wet. The borders were punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment I just typed on my computer.

Glad you could stop by. Hope you will go over to Sweet Stampin and see with the other DT memebers have created, I am sure you will be inspired to create something of your own for the challenge.
Thanks again for being such great crafters!

Today's card I used a digital stamp from Squigglefly called Tulip Display (for obvious reasons).
I colored it with my copics, punched with a Marvy Punch, and used a Spellbinders die also. The sentiment was an old stamp I had, not marked.

The paper is from a new 6 x 6 pad by Bo Bunny called Garden Girl, I just got it and love it. The cardstock is from my scrap pile. The flowers and pins are from Prima (new from my shopping excursion with my sister inlaw).

Birthday Fairy Wishes

Hello Everyone,

Happy Easter if you celebrate it!

Yes I am still away enjoying myself a bit. But of course I cannot forget about my faithful followers so I had a few posts pre scheduled so you would not wonder where I went. I am sure when I come back I will have a few stories to tell. My sister-in-law Dora is a lot of fun to be around. How lucky am I that I only have one brother (two sisters also) and he married so well. I tell him all the time how lucky he is, not sure he believes me all the time (haha).

So today's card has already been sent out. Hopefully the receipent has got it already, if not well then when you do get it, you will know who you are!

This sweet image is a La-La Land Stamp, Faerie Marci. These images are so fun to color. She is colored with copics. I never list the colors of my Copics but if ever you want to know please feel free to ask. I have a lot of favorite combos I use. I used some Stickles on her wings, crown and tights. The sentiment is a stamp I had in my stash, sorry it is not marked. The paper is from Bo Bunny, two sided called Sun Kissed Stripe. the ribbon, rhinestone and card stock was all from my stash.

Hope you like her and I appreciate your stopping by! Thanks.

Hula

Good Morning Everyone,

Hopefully you are reading this and it made it to its scheduled post, because by now I should be quite settled in visiting my brother Keith and his wonderful family! I am sure my wonderful family is missing me back home in the cold weather while I am basking in warm sunshine, oh well hehe!

Today's card I made with a digi I purchased on line from Make it Crafty.

I think she is adorable, wish I could wear a grass skirt and look that good lol! The paper behind her is from DCWV travel stack, it is bamboo which I though was most appropriate. Wish I had little tiki lights that would have been cute. I punched out the flowers and used Liquid Pearls for the center of each. I put them around her to form a lei.

So what do you think? Let me know and again thanks for stopping by.

Best Friends

Good Monday Morning to Everyone,

Today we have a new Sketch Challenge at Graphicat Sketches. I hope you will join in the fun this week and create a card using this sketch!

I did my card using a digital image that was a freebie and again I cannot remember who it is from. I have since begun labeling all my free images. If you know who it is from let me know so I can give proper credit.

The sentiment is from Graphicat and it is so true! I have colored my image using Copic markers as I am sure you all know by now if you read my blog hehe!  I used some Spellbinder dies and a couple of punches to make the flowers. All the paper was just from my scrap pile.

I hope you will go on over and check out the DT members cards because they are great. So go take a peek, leave a comment and then get creating so you can join in the fun. Thanks!!!!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Glad you could stop by! I am headed out to Florida tomorrow to see my brother so my posts may be light this week but I will still post. I will also be making comments on your cards so make sure you get them posted!
