Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. I am fine, thanks. Had to have my AC repaired today, lucky me, but just in time since they are calling for hot weather this weekend.
Today's card I made for a friend of my daughter's. She is getting married soon. The image is one got for free from Sassy Studio. The dies are Cheery Lynn Designs. One of my fellow DT members from Sweet Stampin is also a DT member for Cheery Lynn and she makes the most amazing cards, so I had to get some of these dies and enter a challenge. I just love them.
I don't know that the card photo is that great, but the paper has shimmer and sparkle to it. I also used a lot of Stickles on the bride's gown.
I am entering her in he following challenges:
Cheery Lynn Creations: Wedding/Anniversary
Crafty Creations: Embellish it
Corrosive Challenge: Summer Girls (June bride)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Kim

Birthdays
Hi Everyone,
I know it is about time I posted. First I would like to say welcome to my newest follower, glad to have you aboard. Secondly, thank you to everyone for the best birthday wishes! A special thank you to my Design Team at Sweet Stampin who created some of the best cards and sent them out to me, you ladies are the best!
I had a wonderful time in Las Vegas! It was a perfect vacation and I have a short story to share with you. So for those of you who did not know I was out there for my birthday, which happens to be on the 22nd. So my husband and I are not big gamblers but we do like to play a little bit. We were playing roulette the whole time betting on 22 constantly, well needless to say it only came out once for a measly $35 pay off.
Well on the last night there, we were walking back to our room around 1:30 am (I know very late for me) and my husband says, " I am placing one last bet on 22" I am thinking you should just donate that money haha. So he puts $20 down on 22 and guess what? Yup think positive.....it came out and we hit for $700. How exciting is that? I could not believe it, talk about a perfect ending to a great week! So I had to share that bit of fortune with you.
So on today's card, I made this for my nephew Sal, who will be celebrating a birthday next week. He is a great kid and I think incredibly handsome hehe! I used a Kenny K image as I thought it was fitting for him. I colored with copics and kept it a simple masculine card.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: Sporty
Love to Create: anything Goes
Incy wincy: Anything goes.
Thanks for stopping by hope you have all been well.
Hugs,
Kim

Things with Wings
Hopefully you are reading this and it posted on time. I should be arriving back home tonight from Las Vegas, probably broke and exhausted hahaha!
So today over at Whoopsi Daisy is a new challenge and a fun one at that, it is: Things with Wings.
For my card today, I used an image from Sheet 280. I think she looks like she is deep in thought. I colored her with copics and used some stickles for sparkle. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies (also with wings). The sentiment is from Recollections. The paper was from my scrap pile.
I just love using up paper from the scrap pile.
So I hope you will break out your fairies, butterflies, lady bugs and whatever else you have with wings and enter our challenge.
You may use any stamp you like but if you use a whoopsi daisy stamp your prize doubles!
So head on over to Whoopsi Daisy and check out the the other DT members creations for a bit of inspiration, then get crafting!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hopefully I will be able to leave a few extra comments next week to make up for this week!
Hugs!

Ribbons and Bows
Good Morning,
Hope everyone is doing well this weekend. If this post goes off on time, I am still in Vegas, hopefully winning big and burying my birthday out there hehe!
So today at Sweet Stampin' it is time for a new challenge. Yes you guessed it, Ribbons and Bows. Come on now, how easy is that?
So once again we have two sponsors. Our first is our generous monthly sponsor Joanna Sheen.
For my card I used a digital stamp from Meljens Designs, it was a freebie. How cute is he?
I actually made this for my niece who is having her baby August 6th. I know I am impressed I am done so early with it, haha.
Of course I colored him with copics. Some ribbon and made a bow also did a bow from a Martha Stewart punch. I just think he is the best hehe.
So I hope you will get on over to Sweet Stampin and check out the other Design Team members cards and be inspired to create something of your own!

Dad
Hello Everyone,
Well first I must say thank you to Alice and Regan for both telling me my stamp for my Diva post is a Sassy Studio Stamp. Thank you ladies and thanks for your lovely comments!
My card today I made for my Dad for Father's Day. He will love it because he is the type of Dad that loves everything his kids do (hehe)!
I used a La-La-Land Stamp Prince Luka, that I purchased at the best yard sale ever! Absolutely Everything my favorite in town store does an annual yard sale where crafters can buy a spot and sell all their supplies they are no longer using! An added incentive is the store puts tons of stuff on clearance. I am talking Christmas stuff all 75% off, discounted paper, stamps, etc. So much fun. My two sisters and I went and had a blast.
But back to my card. I kept it simple to keep it regal and elegant!

So for my card I used a digital stamp called Cosmo. I do not know where I got it from, I believe it was a freebie that I obtained back in February. If anyone knows please leave me a comment so I can give proper credit.
I colored her with copics, my hair is still a bit messy but I am still working on getting better at that. I added a ring to her finger though, how cute is that. I also created some nailpolish hehe!
The sentiment is from Graphicat. I punched the circls and scalloped circles with my Marvey punches.
The flourish is a die from Cheery Lynn Design. The paper is just scrap paper. I also used some Stickles to make her earrings sparkle.
So I hope you will get on over to Graphicat Sketches and create something wonderful. Check out the creations by the other DT members, they are gorgeous as usual.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave me a comment about anything you like!

Time Flies
Good Morning everyone!
Where did this week go? It just flew right by. I have been a bit busy I am sure that is the reason.
I did take my Copic class, I am now officially certified in Copics, not sure why I wanted to do that but I did. I am always trying to learn more when it comes to coloring.
So today we have a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' it is "Stitching, real or faux." So on my card I chose faux, I don't really like to sew!
We have two sponsors again. Our monthly sponsor, the ever so generous Joanna Sheen is giving away a voucher.
Our weekly sponsor is Sew Sweet.
Here is my card:
The image I used, is from Pixie Dust Studio called Walter and his pup. I actually won this during a card challenge.....see it is good to enter challenges! He is so cute in his bathing suit and swim goggles. I used a little glossy accents on the goggles to make them look more real. The sentiment is from Recollections.
I hope you will drop by Sweet Stampin' and see what the other Design Team members have done. They are wonderful!
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
CRAFT Challenge: Male
Crafty Catz Challenge: Summer
Creative Inspiration: Male
Cute Card Thursday: Water
Thanks for stopping by and a big hello to my newest follower!

Rainy Days and Mondays
Hi Everyone,
First off, I would like to thank everyone for your wonderful Anniversary wishes, very nice of you.
Yes we had a great dinner out and because my husband gets me, he gave me a beautiful, sparkly, more than I deserve.......gift certificate to my favorite scrapping store! Haha you were thinking jewelery you know it!
It is Monday and it is raining yet again, not a very cheery day. Not expecting much for tomorrow either. However, tomorrow I am taking a Copic Certification class. Has anyone every taken one? Let me know what you thought of it. I am there all day tomorrow hopefully learning some new skills. But either way at least I get to color most of the day.
Today I have a card I made for my good friend's daughter. She just turned 10 years old! Double digits is a big deal when you are that young.
I used a digital stamp from Pollycraft. The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Stampendous. The paper is a 6 x 6 pad from My Mind's Eye. The flowers I made and the butterflies are a Marth Stewart punch.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Moving Along With the Times: Red, white and blue.
Penny Paper Crafts: Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge: Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by and for all your lovely comments!

My Anniversary
Hi Everyone,
Today I am sharing a card with you that I made for my husband for our anniversary. Which is today by the way! Yup 28 wonderful years of marriage, how lucky is my husband hahahaha!
Seriously, I do love him, he just gets me the way no else ever could, I am sure a few of you out there know what I am talking about.
So I wanted this card to try and reflect what I felt but yet not look too girlie, what do you think?
This is the outside of the card
This is the inside.
Both stamps are digital stamps I purchaed from Squigglefly. I really love that my husband will still reach for my hand on occasion. The sentiment is just true!
So I colored the image with copics. The paper is from Glitz a 6 x 6 pack called Happy Travels which ironically our journey together has been very happy travels.
I used some Distress Ink on the edges, distressed the paper with my Tim Holtz distresser. I added some stickles and Pearl pen for a little texture. The lace gave it a bit of vintage feel (like us vintage).
He loved it. He thinks I am extremely talented (don't tell him there are many so much more talented than I will ever be out there), I would not argue with him on this point hehehehe!
So any way, thank you for stopping by. I am off to dinner tonight to celebrate! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
ATC's and cards with attitude: anything goes
Incy Wincy: Vintage
Stamp Man Challenge: Make it for a man
2 Sisters Challenge: Inside and out.

Not A virus!
Happy Friday Everyone,
Yes my computer got a virus :( that is why I have not posted much this week. At first when it happened I thought I lost all my digital stamps. (Yes I know I wanted to cry!) You see I had not backed them up on anything (foolish), but to my defense, I have only been using and buying them since January and just said to my daughter (the computer genius), I need to back my digis up and she said yes you do.
But to make a long story short, my computer genius daughter Brittany managed to clear the virus from my computer and find where all the digis went, retrieved them for me and they are now backed up safely. So THANK YOU BRITTANY!!!! How did you get to be so smart? hehehehe!
Today's card I made just for fun. It is a digital stamp from Pollycraft that I colored with Copics. Some of the paper is from Crate Paper a 6 x 6 pad and some I just had in my scrap pile. The little bumble bee charm (I know cute right) is from ek success. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies.
