Pink, babies and holidays

Hi Everyone,

So had a great weekend I would like to share with you. Went to see Comics Come Home Saturday night it was hilarious. Dennis Leary hosted with a great line up of comedians, Ray Romano, Jimmy Fallon, Lenny Clark, etc. It is a fundraising benefit for Cancer so all around a great night.

Also Sunday was my daughters's baby shower and yes I must bore you with a picture or two! We did a little pumpkin theme since it is fall. Here are just a couple of pics....

So here is the cake it matched the invitation sort of....lemon raspberry very good!

The centerpieces, they are white pumpkin cookie jars found at Target on clearance day after Halloween, with beautiful fresh flower arrangements. My picture does not do it justice. The
box to the left was a caramel and chocolate apple designed to look like a pumpkin, these were the favors.

My daughter is in the center of this picture with her cousins in the dark plum dress and the baby belly lol. My other daughter is on the end on the right with the gray dress with black stripe. Great day all around.

Thanks for humoring me, now I will bore you no longer. We will get right to my card this week. She is a cutie for the holiday. Obviously I am still in the pink mind set though haha.

This is a digital image again from Wee stamps which I colored using my copics. The tree and poinsettia are dies I have.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my ramblings....

What season is it?

Hi Everyone,
So here in Massachusetts the weather is more like summer today, it is in the 70's, so strange to be out of the house with no coat on. (Personally I am loving it.)

So my card today is a winter card/Christmas card so unlike our weather haha! I used a digital stamp called Heidi, I believe it is a Wee stamp. I colored her using my copics and lots and lots of stickles. I also used several punches and dies for the poinsettia, snowflakes and borders.

Thanks for stopping by. This weekend is my daughter's shower and yes I am going to share a picture or two next week hehe!

Baby Banner

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well. I have had an exciting week so far, lets just say when you live with an 82 year old man who all of a sudden decides he can cook (even though he never has his whole life), you get to meet the fire department! Yup no lies, my father in law who lives downstairs in an inlaw apartment set off the smoke alarms yesterday which are wired into my house alarm. When I ran down to see if he was ok, I missed the call from the alarm company thus explaining the fire trucks in my driveway lol. Never a dull moment around here.

Of course if you lived here and saw the smoke coming out the house, the dogs barking, one going the bathroom on my rug because she was scared and me trying to hold it all together you might have enjoyed the show.

But with that behind me now I wanted to post something a bit different today. It is the banner I made for my daughter's baby shower. We are doing a little pumpkin theme. I used my cricut to cut the onsies and letters, I used a die for the pumpkin and some eyelets for the snaps. I think it came out quite cute.

This is the whole banner, sorry about the lighting.

How cute are those onsies.

Little witch

Hello,

Today I am showing one of the cards my husband asked me to make. He has three women that work for him in the office and he is giving them some candy for Halloween but wanted some cards. I made three using different images from La La Land but kept to similar papers.

I cannot even believe that Halloween is almost here, time is flying by.Two weeks from now will be the baby shower for my daughter, I will have to post some stuff I made for that soon.

Here is my card:

Gotta love Marci she is so cute. I colored her with copics added some Stickles and there you have it.
Of course I seriously think I am addicted to Stickles but that is a problem for another day lol!

Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Flowers

Hi All,

So I finally finished jury duty...GUILTY... such an awful crime too, so glad I am off that case. Now I can just enjoy the fall for what it is FUN! Love this time year, the air around here is crisp, the leaves are changing and all the fall flowers are so colorful. I know most people see spring or the start of the new year as a refresher but not me, I see fall as perfect start of anything new, you know new school year, new holiday season, new clothing season, etc. you get my drift. Why I might even learn to be a better cook this fall.....all right let's not get carried away haha.

Also would like to mention, I was lucky enough to win a challenge over at Fab 'n' Funky for my Feeling Sassy card how exciting. Also got top three for a couple of cards. I mention this not for praise, but because I want everyone to know I appreciate that my entry was picked! Thanks!!!

So my card today is a thanksgiving card using a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil. She is called bunches. I colored her with my copics and added some glitter to her flowers. Not the usual Thanksgiving colors but I like it.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Feeling Sassy

Hi Everyone,

What a rough week, this jury duty stuff is killing me! I believe I have one more day this coming Tuesday. Hopefully by then a verdict will be had. Today I needed a little de-stress time. What better way than by coloring.

So this card I have today, the image I won from Sassy Studios which I absolutely love! I colored her once again using my copics. The sentiment is from Art Impressions, but I must admit is so appropriate for this stamp!

She is just so sassy!!!

Love the fall

Hi Friends,

Hope you are all well. I have been a bit busy, got called for jury duty and I have been assigned a case which means for the next week or so I must report to court every day. It is rather interesting but it causes such chaos in my weekly routine. But I suppose there are a lot worse things I could be doing.

I am in the process of working on the baby shower fun. Invitations have been sent, centerpieces ordered, working on favors, cannot wait, I just love a party! I am so thankful I get to be a grandmother soon.... 4 more months but hey who's counting.

Speaking of thankful....I have created this sweet card using a digital stamp from Sassy's Cheryls.
How cute is she. It is hard to find really cute thanksgiving images, I love her with her cute turkey outfit. I colored her with my copics, added some Stickles and Glossy accents along with the cutest pumpkin charm. I love little charms, although sometimes I have the hardest time figuring how to get them on the card so they hang well haha.

Cute little Pumpkin

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today it is hard to think about fall since the weather here just turned hot and muggy yech! But since I live right near a huge historical fair (Topsfield Fair) and it opens this Friday, I do know it is really fall.

My cute little card today is an image from Mo's Digital Pencil which I colored with my copics. I really love this cutie, especially since we are planning a baby shower for my daughter next month, I do believe little pumpkin is a great theme hmm....

I hope you all have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by.

Cute Vampire

Good Afternoon Friends,

So just came back from a little weekend getaway with the hubby. Went to New Hampshire the White Mountains, for some rest and relaxation. Of course I also managed to do some shopping and buy some adorable outfits for the future granddaughter!Who doesn't love to spoil the little ones haha!

Speaking of such, just out this cute little guy. This is a digital stamp from Sassy Cheryl. I colored him once again using my copics (my favorites).

Time to buy pink!

Good Morning All,

So my daughter had her ultrasound this week and we got the pleasure of learning we are going to be the proud grandparents of a healthy baby girl!!!! We are thrilled, of course we would have been just as thrilled if it were a boy hehe!

On that pregnancy note here is a cute card I created used a digital stamp from Saturated Canary.

I colored this adorable image using my copic markers. I also used a Tim Holtz die for the frame and a memory box die for the baby clothes.

I can't help myself, all thoughts are on pregnancy and babies.... and I must say I am enjoying it.

I would like to however, mention that my card Let's get Freaky won Top 3 over at Kenny K. That was quite a surprise having just jumped back into blogging.

So thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous week!

Let's get Freaky!

Hello Everyone!

So nice to hear from some old friend with my last post. Nice to see you ladies are doing well and still so creative. I am just getting back into the swing of things, my husband actually told me it was nice to see me making cards again ha! Who knew? That's why I love him. That and he is an incredible cook (hehe) who wouldn't want that in a man.

So here is another Halloween card, what can I say, I am in the Halloween spirit I guess.

This wild woman is a digital image from Kenny K. I colored her using my copics and the sentiment is a wooden stamp from Ikadinkadoo. I thought it was quite sassy!

Hope you all have a good weekend and I hope to be around checking out what everyone else has been up to.

Again thanks for your prior comments, love to hear from all of you.

Let's try this again!

Hi Everyone!

I have decided to slowly introduce myself back into blogging. Now some of you are saying who cares or who are you hahaha, others may say, I think I remember her but either way I am here and there is nothing you can do about it hehe.

For those of you who are interested (and I hope there is at least one of you), I have had a lot go on in my world over the past year or so. I will not bore you with the small stuff but share some fun stuff. First and foremost, my oldest daughter Ashley got married!!!! It was a fun year with lots of planning and the day came and went so quickly but was just magnificent. Yes I am going to post a picture or two, what mom wouldn't?

The happy couple and their adorable flower girls and ring bearer, how cute?

Again the happy couple with their maid of honor, my youngest daughter Brittany and their best man.

All the vows said now on to many more years of happiness!!

So now that I subjected you to that, they were married on April 18th. Well on June 2nd, my wedding anniversary, they told us they are going to have a baby!!!! Well how exciting is that? So even though I think I am too young to be a grandmother (not really), I am thrilled with the news. So she is due February 9th. Hopefully not in the middle of a snow storm.

So all this means is that I am giving up my job outside the home and I will be staying at home starting next year and babysitting full time, a true test to see if I am old or not hahaha.

Anyway if you found this boring wait til I post baby pictures next year!!! But in the meantime, I do have a card to post. I just got back into being creative and I am having a lot of fun with it.

So this cutie is a digital stamp I got last year from Wee Stamps, called Hazel. I colored her using my copics and and lots of stickles. That pumpkin I made using a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. It was the first time I used it and I loved it, it has a lot of dimension.

I hope you you leave me a little note just to say hello! Thanks for stopping by,

Kim
