Sparkly Clean

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the kind words about my Granddaughter! A nana has to brag every now and then lol.
So today's card is another image from Sassy Studio Designs. I think this image is real fun.

Again I colored using my copics but added lots of glitter and shine with sparkly paper and Stickles. The fun embellishment is a die from Memory Box.

For You

Hi Everyone,

Hope things are going well for you. All good here. My little granddaughter is going to be 8 weeks old on Tuesday, wow! she is so much fun, starting to smile and recognize us. I am so lucky!

Enough of my bragging, today my card is done with a digital image from All Dressed Up. I colored her using my favorite medium Copics! She is adorable.

I also used a new die from La La land crafts to cut her out, love the stitched circle look.
Hope you you enjoy.... But I cannot let you go without a peek of my granddaughter lol

Love You in Pink

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is good in the world. We are all doing fine over here. Just spent the morning with my granddaughter and of course that was fun!

Today's card is an image from My Besties which I have had for some time and just decided it was time to color her again.

Stayed with the blues and pinks, I like how it came out, but I did struggle with this  one.

Thanks for stopping by.

Flowers and faeries

Hello Everyone,

I am so enjoying my new granddaughter, who knew it would be this fun, hold her, feed her, change her, kiss her, rock her, love her and then go home and sleep all night hehe! But enough of my bragging, (although it is well deserved because she is perfect) lol.

So today I created this adorable card with an image from Faery Ink. This is the first image I have ever colored of theirs. I absolutely love it along with all their images so cute, so glad I found them. I colored her with copics and went with lots of flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

I am a Nana!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Please indulge me this one time, but I have been posting about my long awaited granddaughter, well she finally made an appearance. After 20 hours of labor, 2 and a 1/2 hours of pushing, only to be taken through a C-section, Harper Anne decided to be born Tuesday night. She is my chunky monkey at 8 pounds, 7 ounces!

So thanks for letting me brag a bit, but I am in love and love makes us do strange things lol.

Another guest designer spot!

Hi Everyone,

Lots of exciting news this week. I am the featured guest designer over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge! How exciting is that. They had a recipe you had to follow for this challenge and this is what I came up with.

This is an adorable Magnolia Tilda stamp I have had for some time. It was a black and white theme so hence the color choices. I colored her with my copics. I love that map paper, it makes it look like she is on an adventure.

Hope you all have a great week and check out my next post, there may be pictures of my new granddaughter, just saying....

Hugs,
Kim

Guest Designer!

Hello Everyone,

So today my card is being featured at All Dressed Up as I was chosen to be their guest designer.
This was really very exciting to me as I had just come across their blog by looking around at some cards and they offered a couple of free images of which I totally took advantage of and then entered my card in and was chosen in the top 3 and then asked to be a guest designer.

So this is the card I made, using one of their images called Little Flower Fairy. I think she is adorable. I colored her with copics and added some stickles for some sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

Happy Valentines Day

Hello Everyone,

Hope it is a good day for everyone. So of course we know Valentines Day is tomorrow. I think it should be a fun day, not just about couples but about love in general. Great couples don't need a special day to announce their love, they show it every day to each other. But I think it can be a fun day to remind some others how much they are loved...

All that being said I made this fun card with an image from Sassy Studio Designs. How cute is she? I like to imagine I could look like that in a bikini, but let's just say the reality is not quite as pretty hahaha!

I colored her using my copics, I swear 4 years of practice and I still struggle with hair coloring, oh well it was fun either way.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Valentines Day tomorrow. Remember to show somebody besides your significant other that you love them!

Still Waiting

Hi All,

So my lovely granddaughter has decided to make us wait a little longer for her grand entrance. Apparently, she likes to gather a lot of suspense first lol. But while waiting I have made yet another baby card. I know what can I say we have a lot of friends having babies. I have used this image multiple times but I just think it is the cutest!

Of course I colored her with my copics and used some left over paper from one of my prior baby cards.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great night.

Hopping ahead

Hello my friends,

Today I am crafting (still waiting for that baby to come) and I am moving ahead to Easter. Today's card is a card and gift box in one. I am sure many of you have done these yourself but they are really fun to give with a bit of candy inside.

I used an image from Saturated Canary which I colored with copics. Kept the rest of the card front simple.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day! I know I will.

Bunny love

Hi Again,

Here I am posting so much this week, guess I just had some extra time on my hands, really loving it though.

Today's card I am jumping ahead to Easter, yes I know it is soon, but when my new granddaughter gets here I won't have as much time to craft!

This image is an oldie I have had for a long time, it was also a freebie but cannot remember from who unfortunately. Check out those cute little chicks on the bottom, they are from a Martha Stewart punch!

Thanks for stopping by, feel free to say hello.

Just 5 more days til the due date hopefully she will go on time. She will kill me but check out how cute this is:

I love this kid!!!

Animal love

Hi Everyone,

So some fun news, I won top three over at All Dressed Up for my "Just Found This " post. The great part was I won using a free digital image they offered.

So now on to my next card. I had this adorable little image I believe from Saturated Canary, called Patches. I colored him/her using copics. I embossed the white paper with a folder and used stickles.
It is a simple card but very cute.

Now who does not love cute little animals. I don't have any cats but I have two crazy dogs.

Sorry had to share a little picture hehe!

Hope you have a great day!

Girls having fun!

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well. A bit of a crazy day here, my husband's coffee maker at work broke (he cannot live without his coffee lol), my daughter burnt her hand on her hair straightener this morning before work (ouch), one of my dogs threw up (yuck) and I started a diet. Sorry to my family but starting a diet is worse than any of your issues today hahahahaha!

Today though I have a card that is fun and no diet necessary. This cute image I have had for a while but still love it. It is from Sassy Cheryl, this is Sassy Sally. I just love the bright fun colors in this card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is going better than anyone in my family today!

Shake it

Hello Again,

So there I was looking at some great blogs when I saw a shaker card. I have never attempted a shaker card but it looked like fun. So of course I googled up some tutorials on how to make a shaker card...who knew there was so many ways ha! So anyway that inspired me to attempt to make one. Which I did, but it also made me realize I needed some new products....naturally. So now I better make one or two more shaker cards to justify spending on some new supplies!

So the image is another freebie from All Dressed Up, which I love. The heart and stars glitter is Martha Stewart that I got on clearance woo hoo! I colored her with some copics and this is what I came up with. Not bad for my first time.

Thanks for stopping by!

Babies on my mind

Hello,

So I have less than two weeks to go now until my daughter's due date, let;s hope she does not go late!
But with that being said I have been doing some maternity cards. This particular card I did a while ago, it was a request from someone that needed a card for an upcoming baby shower. The image is a digital from Mo's Digital Pencil. I love how this card came out.

I colored her with my copics. The baby carriage is a die from Memory Box that I just added some ribbon and pearls to.

Thanks for stopping by and putting up with my baby count down haha!

Just found this!

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is good. Life is great with me! So was looking at some blogs and cards when I came across All Dressed Up digital stamps. Oh my goodness how cute are they and there was even a couple of freebies on the site. So of course I had to download them and try it out. I am sure many of you have seen them but apparently I have been in a bubble somewhere haha!

This is what I came up with.

Can you believe she was free? Who doesn't love a freebie?  I colored her with my copics then added a bit of Stickles because I love my stickles. Hope you like her.

Stay warm and thanks for dropping by.

Too Hot to Handle

Hi Everyone,
No I am not talking about the weather with that post title, since it is freeeezing here! But hey that is winter so we need to warm things up which is exactly what my card today will do. If you are shy avert your eyes lol!

Found this adorable digital stamp on line from Slinky Tart. I occasionally like to stray from all the cuteness and do something a little more adult like if you know what I mean. Of course my husband walked in the offices while I was making it and wanted to know if it was for him haha! Love that guy.

I colored her using my copics and kept the rest of the card pretty simple. Hope you like her!

Have a great afternoon and thanks for stopping by.

Third Times the Charm

Hi Again,

I know right, what am I doing back so soon hahaha. Just could not stay away, you all make it so fun.
So I created this charming card and had to share it. I have just been on a card making spree and I hope it lasts for a while. Funny I never really get in a housecleaning spree and if I do it definitely does not last long ha!

So this is a digital image from Saturated Canary that I colored with my copics. I also used stickles on her shirt for some extra sparkle. The bird cage is a Tim Holtz die. Hope you enjoy. I will be back next week. We are having family over on Sunday, going to do a little betting on when my daughter will have the baby and what it will weigh.

Hugs.....Kim

Twice in one week!

Good Morning friends,

I know what you are thinking, who is this woman that is posting twice in one week when before the holidays it was maybe twice in a month hahaha! Well lucky for all of you I have had some free time on my hands, better I use it creatively otherwise, I might get into trouble...

Sooo, love must be on my mind this week as I have done another Valentine's Day card. I could not resist because I love these La La Land images, how can you not. I can't wait until my granddaughter is old enough to make cards for. (I guess it would be best if I waited for her to be born first hehe.)

So here is my cutie:

Again I colored her my copics and used up some scrap paper I had in my bin. I am very excited I have not bought any new paper in quite some time now, although I am starting to weaken. Enjoy the rest of the week!

Happy New Year

Hi Everyone,

Seems I was missing for some time. Just got too busy with life, you know how it is. But it is a new year and with the holidays behind us for the moment I have some free time to enjoy crafting. Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. Mine was quiet which was perfect for me after the crazy year I have had.

Now I have four weeks until my daughter's due date! I am very excited about becoming a grandmother. Although not sure how I feel about people thinking I am old now haha! We know it is a girl and let's just say she will not need any new clothes for a while (although that won't stop me from buying more). They are just so cute! She is due February 9th I am sure she would like to go a few days early, but either way just in time for Valentine's Day!

Speaking of which, I have made this adorable card for Valentines Day. I used a digital stamp from La La La Land stamps. How cute is Luca. I have colored him using my copics and just added lots of layers. Basically using up some of my scrap paper since I have a bin full.

I thank you for stopping by and I am hoping to post again this week and not make it so far in between! Have a great day.
